Very functional and easy to use. Gives a lot of information in the process of scanning and the results of the scan.

Excellent recognition. Saved history. Crest and display QR codes to pass info, contacts, maps, etc to others. More capabilities than similar ones Ive looked at. Well worth the price. All Id like to see added is a Safari plug-in to display current URL as QR code.

Awesome scanner, it doesnt matter what orientation its in it still scans. Definitely worth the $1.99

I purchased the app while attending a conference and wanted to use it to scan name badges. The scanning codes looked similar to those shown on this apps info page in iTunes so I thought Id give it a try. I was unable make it read the codes as desired. However, the application is configured to open a dialog window in the event of an error so that you can give permission for a "trouble ticket" to be transmitted to the publisher. I allowed it to send the exception message and received an email from the publisher about a day later indicating that the code I was scanning was not a type that could be read by the app. Thumbs up for the support feature within the app and for the publisher response to the support notification via email. Thumbs down for the publisher who didnt offer a courtesy refund after seeing that the software was useless for me. :( The moral? Learn your bar codes before buying scanner apps.

I have tried a number of the free scanners - this one works very well for me on some QR codes that arent picked up by the others.

Just downloaded Optiscan and tried to read the same codes my husband just read with FREE barcodescanner for his droid. His scanned every code and optiscan couldnt read a single one. Why did I pay for this????

Ive spent much of the day trying out the various free scanner apps out there, and also purchase this one. Im not disappointed. It has scanned all of the codes Ive created so far VERY quickly and accurately. Nice job!

I wasnt doing anything too complicated but it created barcodes from my contacts perfectly. A non iPhone scanned it with no issues.

Cant make QR code of geo location, only of contacts, web url, and text. It can decode from photo album QR codes made by other apps, but it wont save its own created QR codes to photo album, so you cant really see if the code that was created has the info you wanted. Its very limited in features. I bought it on sale for $.99 and I really feel sorry for those who paid $1.99 for this crappy app.

Purchased it for the store and it does not work well with the IPhone. Did not want to use email. Could have done that with outlook!

Save your money and dont buy, this app is just like Qreader...it cant scan any QR codes... 1 star is pushing it!

Fastest scanner Ive found. Support is top notch too. Real humans actually respond! Needs some love though. No real updates in some months.

No biggie nuthin fancy. It does work though. Thats all I ask.

Great app my personal favorite for qr scanners

After purchasing a barcode app that didnt meet my needs, I found Optiscan and find it does exactly what I need for storing a lot of data into a single code. Very pleased with ease of use.
